One of Machynlleth’s biggest claims to fame is the annual Machynlleth Carnival, usually held in July every year. Carnival Day is a particular favourite of ours, as it brings tonnes of excitement and entertainment to our small town, filling the streets with tourists and delicious food – including Hennighan’s, of course.

We often decorate the restaurant and dress up ourselves, and even offer free drinks and ice pops to carnival-goers as they dance the day away. Members of the Hennighan’s team also help the Carnival’s committee by stopping traffic at both ends of the town centre, making sure the street is completely safe for everyone attending.
