Education

We know that our children are the future, and we firmly believe that educating them in the right way is crucial for improving our world.

One way we help educate our community is by inviting the local kids to Hennighan’s, where they get to learn where sustainable seafood comes from in the UK, how we prepare our fish and how chippies cook fish. In our experience, kids love getting to see where their food comes from – even if they get a little squeamish seeing the fish get prepared!

We also visit local schools to hold educational workshops (with lots of free fish and chips samples, of course!). We teach the children about the importance of recycling, so that generations to come will get to enjoy the lush Welsh countryside. We often invite local schools into the shop, where kids can learn how to sort and organise different kinds of recyclables.
